National Commission For Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD) Announces Scholarship
The National Commission for Persons With Disabilities has announced scholarship for Persons With Disabilities who are undergraduate students of public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, James David Lalu.
According to the statement, applicants for the scholarship must “be an indigent Person With Disability; bonafide student of any public tertiary institution in Nigeria,” among other criteria.
The scholarship application which is the first of its kind by the Commission is set to close on 30th November, 2022.
Application:
Address your application to the Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons With Disabilities through your level adviser.
Attach your recent passport/full photograph.
Attach all relevant documents e.g birth certificate, O’level result, transcript of last academic session, etc.
Your application can be sent nationwide through DHL, UPs or any other courier service to the Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons With Disabilities, Plateau House, plot 79 Ralph Shodeinde street, Central Business District, Abuja.

NOTE: Only Persons With Disabilities are qualified for this scholarship.

Said Portal Now upgraded to include NIN
– So Far Gov Zulum Spent 500M on Students Busary
In the early hours of today in a press conference the Executive Secretary Borno State Scholarship Board Malam Bala Isa announced that, Gov Babagana Umara Zulum Mni Fnse have approved the opening of the board’s portal to all Borno State students by 12 pm Tuesday 30 of August 2022.
The official portal of the board is www.scholarship.bo.gov.ng while only indigenes of Borno State studying in all tertiary institution in Nigeria are eligible.
The Executive secretary added that, the Portal is now upgraded in such way that students registering will no longer experience challenges and will require National Identification number(NIN) Birth and indigene certificates.
The National president of the National Union Borno State Students (NUBOSS) Comrade Abubakar Sadiq Wajiro on behalf of the students appreciates Gov Babagana Umara Zulum and promise to compliment the efforts of the board in ensuring that more students register without challenges.
